A big welcome to "Ty" Erickson, a freshman at Ankeny Centennial High School. His hobbies include singing (swing choir and choral), sports (wrestling), running and being active in church. He has been actively singing since Kindergarten. Ty sought us out on the recommendation of Ben Joseph..his vocal director at school. His Man of Note is uncle Allen Erickson of the Algona, Iowa chapter.
We are so thankful to our 2015 sponsors for making it possible for us to bring our music to you!

Recently, our long time director Randy Weir retired from directing the Pride of Iowa chorus. Our assistant director, Nathan Green, has been hired to succeed Randy at the helm and the enthusiasm shown in the last few weeks under Nate has been extremely encouraging!
The Pride of Iowa (POI) chorus is now seeking applicants for the position of Associate Director, with compensation appropriate to the responsibilities the Associate Director will be asked to assume. In addition, the POI is seeking people to fill roles as assistant directors/section leaders (non-paid positions).
Nathan Green has accepted the position of Musical Director
of the Pride of Iowa Chorus.
Nathan's youth and energy are an inspiration to our members. He was elected our Barbershopper of the Year for 2015. His experience began at the age of eight standing on the risers with his father and brother in the Wapello Chiefs Barbershop Chorus in Ottumwa, IA.
